Sanitary and epidemiological service of Ahal velayat
The institution was registered for the first time under the name Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of the Ahal velayat according to the order of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan No. 135 dated May 05, 1993, as well as on the basis of certificate No. 21724 issued on February 25, 1994.
Created by order of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan No. 50 dated 03.03.1998 “On the foundation of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Inspection of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan”.
The Service is the assignee of the Ahal Sanitary and Epidemiological Inspection, registered by the State Registration Service for Legal Entities and Foreign Investments under the President of Turkmenistan on September 24, 2003, the certificate No. 25422016 and order No. 94 of July 08, 2003 “ On improving the organizational structure of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Inspection” at the Ministry of Health and Medical industry of Turkmenistan " approved by the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and renamed as Sanitary and epidemiological service of Ahal velayat.
In the era of Power and Happiness, the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan is implementing large-scale works on the prevention of diseases.
The Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of the Ahal velayat, the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Inspection of the Ministry of Health and the Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, in the territory of the Ahal velayat is an authorized body for sanitary and hygienic surveillance and implementing anti-epidemic activity.

Service laboratories and the Certification department are located at Aba Annayev str., house 18, Ashgabat.
In Tejen districts Tejen town, Ak bugday, Babadayhan, Baharden, Gokdepe, Kaka, Sarahs and Tejen districts of Ahal velayat, there are local sanitary and epidemiological services, which subordinate to the Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of the Ahal velayat.
Tasks: implementation of appropriate measures to ensure the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population in accordance with the Sanitary Code of Turkmenistan, the National program “Health” and regulations.
Sanitary-Epidemiological Service of Ahal velayat is one of the special authorized bodies of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Department of Health Services and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan which implements sanitary and epidemiological supervision of the organizations and provides measures to ensure sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population , the coordination of activities in this area which are carried out by state bodies, enterprises, organizations, local administrations, officials and citizens, foreign legal entities, as well as individual entrepreneurs.
The institution is a legal body, has all the rights and obligations of a legal body. It has officially approved register of expenses, bank accounts, a round seal with the state emblem, and owns separate property.
After registration in the Unified State Register of Institutions, Enterprises and Organizations, acquires the rights of a legal body. The institution is financed from the central budget and self-financing.
The founder of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of the Ahal velayat is the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service, registered on February 6, 2006 by the certificate No. 23930001 issued by the State Registration Service for Legal Entities and Foreign Investments under the President of Turkmenistan.
The institution in its activity is guided by the Laws of Turkmenistan, regulations of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, orders and decisions of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service and the present Regulations.
