Central Apparatus of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service

The State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan is the authorized state body that inspects organization, coordination, control and implementation of measures by state authorities and local governments, legal entities and individuals to ensure the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population. It creates and carries out its work in accordance with the Sanitary Code of Turkmenistan, makes decisions that are binding on state authorities and local governments, legal entities and individuals within the limits of its powers.
