Central Medical-Recovery Hospital
The Central Medical-Recovery Hospital contributes to the successful implementation of the "National Program for Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2011-2030" and the State Program "Health".
In order to provide quality medical care to the population, the Central Medical-Recovery Hospital has an outpatient consultation and diagnostic department, a family doctor's department, a dental department, a clinical diagnostic laboratory, a radiology department, physiotherapy and functional diagnostics departments, as well as a therapeutic department with 70 beds (of which 60 beds are on a self-supporting basis and 10 are state-funded). Participants of the Great Patriotic War and disabled individuals, internationalist soldiers, individuals disabled due to the Chernobyl disaster, and widows of participants of the Great Patriotic War receive free inpatient treatment.
In 2000, in accordance with the order of the National Leader, Hero Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, a Diabetes School was established in our hospital.
The hospital includes a consultation and diagnostic department and a therapy department:
- Family Doctors' Department: Provides primary health care to the population attached to the hospital.
- Functional Diagnostics Department: Implements modern methods of diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases into practice. Provides the following services: electrocardiography, echocardiography, spirometry, endoscopy, ultrasound diagnostics.
- Diabetes Center: Classes and discussions are held at the Center for patients with diabetes. Specialists of the center, children and adolescents under 15 years of age with diabetes mellitus and their parents participate in its work. The Diabetes Center focuses on the prevention and treatment of the disease.
- Dental Department: Implements modern methods of diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dental diseases into practice.
- Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory: Provides the population with high-quality laboratory (clinical and biochemical) research services.
- Radiology Department: Provides the population with fluoroscopy and radiography services using high-quality world-class medical equipment.
- Physiotherapy Department: Provides the following services to the population: heat therapy (ozokerite, paraffin), spinal traction, acupuncture, laser therapy, hydrocolon therapy, electrotherapy (galvanization, electrophoresis, amplipulse therapy, Darsonval, ultrasound, low-frequency magnetotherapy, microwave therapy, centimeter wave therapy), inhalations, therapeutic baths, circular shower, hydromassage.
- Specialized Specialists: Neurologist, surgeon, ophthalmologist, otolaryngologist, urologist, obstetrician-gynecologist, therapist, cardio-rheumatologist, immunologist, infectious disease specialist, adolescent doctor. Doctors carry out work on disease control and prevention using new innovative technologies.
- Therapeutic Department: Provides high-level services to the population-inpatient treatment in single and double rooms.
